A two-day conference of presiding officers will be held in the Uttar Pradesh capital on January 20 and 21. The important conference will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while Governor Anandiben Patel will preside over the closing ceremony.
UP Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana made this announcement while addressing reporters here on Monday. He said that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will also be present at the All India Presiding Officers’ Conference.

Presiding officers and representatives from across the country will deliberate on various topics related to democratic processes, parliamentary procedures, and legislative strengthening.
Mahana said that after the conference, all the delegates will visit Ayodhya on January 22 to offer prayers at the Shri Ram Temple. Preparations for the event are in full swing in Lucknow, and the administration has made elaborate arrangements for the reception and security of the guests.
He said that this conference is considered an important step towards further strengthening parliamentary traditions.
